Antimicrobial Resistance Clinical Reference Center (AMRCRC)

Information

The AMRCRC collects information, analyzes the problems on Antimicrobial resistance (AMR), presents the results in an easy-to-understand manner, and conveys the knowledge essential for AMR measures to the general public and medical staff.

Infectious Disease Response Service (IRS)

Information

The Center has a service which is to dispatch the expert team of infection control. Against infectious disease outbreaks, we provide consultations for medical institutions together with the National Institution of Infectious Disease (NIID): our team advises on clinical response, NIID does on epidemiological and microbiological response. We assess the risk based on the severity and emergency, provide support for diagnosis and treatment, and implement Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). From April 2014 to October 2017, we offered 29 consultations. For example, transfer of suspected MERS cases, clinical management of Zika cases, consultation for facilities on Viral Hemorrhagic Fever, and outbreak investigation of Carbapenem Resistance Enterobacteriaceae.

Immunization Support Center

Information

In cooperation with medical professions, administration and schools, companies, and workplaces, the Immunization Support Center contributes to building a society that is resistant to infectious diseases, where infants, elderly individuals, travelers, and individuals with sicknesses are all protected. We also provide lectures outside of our hospital. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
