  1. We are the experts to diagnose infectious diseases and suspects
    We are widely accepting patients suspected of infectious diseases such as fever of unknown cause, cause of poor physical condition after returning from overseas, infectious diseases that are difficult to diagnose or treat, etc. We also accept patients other than infectious diseases in our department. Doctors in our department are fully trained in primary care and internal medicine in general. Besides, They have become an infectious disease doctor. We will respond firmly even when it is uncertain whether it is infectious disease or not. Please do not hesitate to contact us. The number of new outpatients in 2016 was 4,603, and the total number of outpatients was 14,551.
  2. We actively accept foreign patients
    Department of Infectious Diseases is also a place of "International Primary Care". We cooperate with the International Health Care Center (ICC) and actively accept foreign patients. There are several staff physicians who have medical experience in the United States and those who have medical experience in developing countries. Preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games is also thorough.
  3. We have established a system that can diagnose any infectious diseases
    Although Zika virus infection is a worldwide problem, domestic first zika virus infection cases were diagnosed in our department in 2014. We have been involved in a total of three medical treatments since then. The first domestic Plasmodium knowlesi infection was also diagnosed in our department. In addition to having several state-of-the-art multi gene measuring instruments, we are working closely with the National Institute of Infectious Diseases and has established a system that can diagnose any infectious disease.
